D1 - Acrylic on Laser Etched 12x12 Panel This panel was part of Pilsen Outpost's first group show, in participation with Chicago Artists Month, October 2014 I LEFT MY WALLET EN LA CERMAK "Enamel, Chalk, Dirt, Beats, Trigo and others join forces for this show that travels past the Elote man and El Guero while leaving a concha crumb trail to this inspired group show of artists that give to the streets as much as the streets take from them." - Pablo Ramirez As an official participant of Chicago Artists Month, Oct 2014, and Pilsen Open Studios. We took the opportunity to use our new store front as an exhibiting space in October for our very first curated show. Inspired by hip hop's, A Tribe Called Quest's "I left my wallet en el Segundo" , and the Crossing Borders theme, we found it fitting for us to have all our artists that span across the city take a route down Cermak Rd and come together at Pilsen Outpost for this group show. It was very exciting to bring all these individual pieces of work from such a diverse group of artists to form a large scale city map zoomed in on their route down Cermak Rd.
